Acrylic on canvas
There is a sense of simplicity, as we see mainly a play of 2 colors in the forefront, But the cream background was worked maybe more than the actual colors. Whilst painting felt like the support these 2 colors need to be able to exist. The word scars came to me as it felt like a scratch on your skin and the colors bleed in response to it. An invitation to view scars not as a reminder of the pain, but that bleeding shaped parts of our personalities today. The scars and surrounding tissue are so valuable to our life as we know it. At the end, the painting offers peace and contemplation of what is IS perfect.
